The Stand-Alone Editor is the workspace that contains the various managers, toolbars, and menus, along with the drawing pane, that make up the HAMMER CONNECT interface. The HAMMER CONNECT interface uses dockable windows and toolbars, so the position of the various interface elements can be manually adjusted to suit your preference.
